Out and about - On the fence with these looks

Rihanna is a beautiful lady. I am just unsure about this jacket as a dress. I think it needs some nice black cigarette trousers.  And I love a little Beyonce, she is stunning and so sweet and protective of her young. I am confused by the fur content of her cardigan. I am pleasantly surprised that Rachel Zoe is wearing something that fits her.

I think they have fabulous figures, but Cathy and Naomi Campbell look like they borrowed a couple of teenagers dresses.  And Kesha looks clean and decent. We'll leave the comments there.

I nearly really like J Lo's outfit. She is maintaining well in her forties.  And I wish Victoria Beckham smiled more. She always looks uptight and a little miserable, my sources tell me she is a funny sweet person. Good for Lindsay Loham for taking a wash and wearing a coat that I need in my life.  I do like Rachel Roy, but recently, her choices are leaving me a little baffled.

On the Fence

Love Sarah Jessica Parker's hair and make up, but not the dress. I am not sure what to think of Fearn Cotton's ensemble. I don't love Nicole Ritchie's dress. I note the addition to the chest area.  Sounds wierd, but the blacks clash.  And Kelly Bensimon looks better not drawing attention to the middle area and focusing on her great legs.

Canned I don't know what in Cannes

Jennifer Hudson is looking more slender then before. Not that her style has improved much. I can't say that I like the wig/dress/shoes in any of the pictures. Though, she does not offend - well the uber platforms look a little off.

 

Myleen Klass usually looks good on the red carpet, but I find this a little too meringue. While Woody Allen looks forlorn and lost with his wife. Lets leave the statement there.

Frederique Bel has interesting shoes. Interesting. I like this dress on Tamara Mellon. As founder of Jimmy Choo, I am puzzled by the bare feet. Oh well *shrugs*.  Roberta Armani is better with her hair in this picture.

 

Meg Ryan looks a little too thin, too touched and lost. It's a shame.

I am not surprised

Never Quite Makes it

Jlo never quite looks comfortable in what she wears. It never seems to be exactly the right size or cut for her. I am not feeling the shoes either.. Hubby Marc Anthony is wearing the 'no no' shiny satin suit that wifey picked out.

Not a good look considering

Nigel Barker is a judge on ANTM, he does not look comfortable on the runway. I think photography and celebrity judging are his thing. Zack Braff is a funny guy, but I would like to know why he is wearing a jacket that is too small? Is it his? Did he borrow it from a child? Did he look in a mirror? I would just like to know. Agness Deyne is a supermodel and I have no words. I weep silently.

What Happened to them?

Meagan Good seems to have lost her 'it'. I'm sad for her. This lycra mini skirt, acrylic looking blouse and Britney Spears hair extensions make Paris Hilton look, well cheap. And I wept silently for the cute child that Kieron Culkin used to be. I don't know what he is or where he is going now, but this look is lost. I hope he isn't. I say that from a kind place.

Ms Badu is on her special vibe which has some artistic merit. But the look below just kills me softly.

The Male Hair Wrap - is it sexy? (I think not).

Justin Beiber (*whispers* I have no clue who he is or what he does). I know I'm not a pre pubescent teen, but please someone drop a comment and explain what it is about the wrapped look that the young'uns seem to be doing that is attractive.

Keeping up/down with the Kardashians

 

What is the obsession with the Kardashians? They don't 'do' anything. Anyway, for ladies with a ton of money, they should be looking better here. They look a little 'hoochie' strutting down the street. Clothes not fitting them well and trying too hard.

Stick with what you are..

Princess Zara Philips looking a little ermm.. 'chav' dare I say? She's a Royal and I expected better from her. And Jessica is lost. Here she is wearing too many shades of red and a dress that does not quite flatter as it should.

Casual not so great..

 

We are human. Scarlett Johanson doesn't look that bad, but she can look so much better (I know, I look worse on my relaxed days I assure you!). Ms Woodall. What not to wear?

 

Estelle. Why much I weep? Please get a new stylist, or a stylist. These looks do nothing for her. Looking proud and happy and I guess that's also important.
And Amber Rose. This look is cheap and nasty, sorry.

 

I know Jennifer Elision has had a baby. Just because the bulk of her baby weight has gone, it does not mean that this look works. She can do much better. One of the Jonas Bros looking tangy..

Solange Knowles is screaming for attention in this awful outfit, topped with grandma's church hat. I can't even say I think that the pieces could work in different combinations. OK, maybe the pendant.  And Sarah Harding. People are doing botox in anticipation of wrinkles end up looking plastic faced and even though they have 'smoother' skin, I find that in a surreal way, it actually ages.

The boy..

Matthew Morrison from 'Glee' looks oh so wrong. He is wearing all of the looks that he owns. None of them work. I say it from a kind place. That is all.

 

Disappointed!

They were doing great until this..

Mel B, had to go too far with the hair. It looked edgy and cute with a little shadow, but bald looks awful. Even Leona looks like she is trying to escape!

Ladies - where is your style?

What? How? Why? Was there no mirror? Did her child pack for her? Why did you buy these pieces? I know Sarah Jessica Parker knows better. And Catherine Zeta Jones is jacking everyone's style. First posh, now Dita Von Tease, none of them suit her and somehow she looks like a middle aged mum (I know she is, but so is Halle). I feel she can do better.
