I am confused.

Stunning Iman was honoured for being a fashion icon. Here she is in a very unflattering dress. Aside from the dress being, well - not nice, it makes her chunky rather than curvy. A pity. Husband, David Bowie's suit flatters.

Of course Sarah Jessica Parker was there (in McQueen). Fabiola Beracasa looked 'fashion challenged' in this mess of a dress. Donna Karan looked better than usual in one of her designs.

Also there to celebrate were Rachel Roy in another less than flattering silver, frou frou number and shoes that look like they squeeze her feet. And a stunning Liya Kibede. The dress is devine, but the shoes look a little too 'surgical corrective'.  The ladies fashion choices confused and disappointed me. Anna Wintour looked her usual classic self, as did Rachel Weisz.

Why do designers dissapoint me? Vera Wang looks far too thin for me to even consider what she is wearing. And Zac Posen is not putting his best foot forward. Meanwhile, Jimmy Choo founder, Tamara Mellon always seems to look the wrong side of slutty for me.

I don't get why these ladies are style icons. Really I don't. I rarely like what Alexa Chung is wearing, this occaison is not different. Shapeless and unattractive to me. Meanwhile, Rachel Zoe does not seem to be able to dress herself with the same impact as her clients. I don't like this. The Olsen twins actually look good here. And Gweneth Paltrow does not offend or excite me, So I'll end on a positive.

Brooke Sheilds, OK. Jessica Biel, good, Zachary Pinto, weird. Lara Stone, dude where's my eyebrows.

Smith Family

At Jaden's film premier - Karate Kid 1000. Too tangy for my tastes. I don't even know where to begin with Willow. Really, lost for words with this family.

On the move..

Also on the move is pregnant Alicia keys. Pregnancy is not an excuse make these clothing choices. The boots and leggings are killing me softly. Killing me.. And Victoria Beckham's dress could be nice, but her sharp boned, uber skinny frame is too distracting for me to tell.

Anna Kendrick is wearing a pretty dress, but her look is off. Lindsay Lohan is looking better with a longer dress (to hide the alcohol tag). Kristen Stewart's outfit is very cute, but unfortunately she has awkward composure that she rarely looks good.

Ususally looking good is Jessica Alba, but I don't like this a symetrical hem and the sparkly nylon leggings. An off day. I do like Scarlett Johansson's outfit here. It looks like she has lost weight, but not too much.  I want to ask JLo to sit down. And talk to somebody. Or just sit down. That's all I have to say.

Summer functions..

I know I'm late on these. But anyway....

Alex Burke has come a long way since the X factor. Not as far as Leona Lewis, but on her way and looking good at London's Capital Radio's 'Help a London Child' concert.  Also performing was Rihanna and her new red weave. I kinda roll my eyes at these changes. She seems to have the same 'lady Gaga' look at me syndrome. It bores me somewhat. I have heard Keisha's music and find it 'blah'. I don't understand why she wants to look 'dirty' (not sexy dirty, smelly dirty).

 

After the perfomance, Rhianna and her red rug explored the nightspots in London. Also with Pixie Lott who is wearing the tights that I don't feel at all. The fake suspenders/bows etc. they don't don't do well

Cindi Lauper is looking touched in the face. A shame. Kylie Minogue is looking good again, next to Cyndi much less touched.

Also there were Estelle and Kelly Rowland. Kelly looks great. Her hair is working well and her dress is hot. On the other hand we have Estelle. Why must I weep? Why? Killing me softly with this awful look.

Kelly changed her dress (perhaps she had an accident or something) and still looks good. This time with the ever stylish Zoe Saldana. Not letting us down either (perhaps overdone in the eye makeup department).

Ashton Kutcner and his Mrs, Demi Moore look lovely. Maxi dress is woking well. Macy Gray was also there. I like her shoes, and she is trying. Let's just leave it there with the positive.

Something not right here. There is something unclean in the milk about Mel B and her girls. Perhaps she has been living in LA too long.

As time continues, I think they make a nicer looking couple. Here at the French Open finals in Paris.

Red...

Rihanna has a new red weave. It's OK, but I think she can do better. The Change for change sake wears thin on me. It bores me in the way Lady Gaga bores me. Sorry.

Apart from the fact Serena Williams is with my husband, Common - there is something off about this photo. She often borders masculine, although can look amazing with her curves too. Let's leave it there.
