Fashion Weak

I just thought for us mortals....

April so far - on the fence..

Tale comfort ladies, Kate Moss has soft wobbly parts that over hang too! And I am liking Agyness Deyn's longer hair. She is looking pretty again.  I am bothered by Sarah Jessica's clogs. And good old Estelle.. sighs.. I like the colour of her hair and her make up looks nice too - as do her legs and  mini. Leave it there.

Amber Rose - screaming for relevancy and attention in her 'look at my nipple piercings' dress. If she wore a bra, I would have like this look for her. And Jessica White is so nearly for me. I can't put my finger on why she 'misses the mark'. These looks are not bad, but there is something masculine/drag queenish about it. And I can't work out why Nicky Hilton seems to carry her garments off with class and her sister, Paris, cannot.

Now we know...

I always wondered what kind of person would go to the hairdresser and ask for this hairstyle. Now I know Kerry Katona. Now I know.

Before and after. We are all normal without 'hair and make up.

Photo shopping

I do not need to point out the before and after. We are all human and I actually think that Bret Michaels is doing well considering the age, rock 'n' roll lifestyle and health issues.

They are human

Original Supermodels..
Some women when they hit their forties or have had a baby face the 'fear of being formerly hot' syndrome. I can't help but wonder if some of Naomi Campbell's style choices reflect this or simply reflect poor taste. Glad to see she is human with her flaws.
But she does scrub up well, even if I am not crazy about the frou-frou lace and satin number.

Another supermodel, Helena Christensen looks great from the neck down. The hat and glasses are not doing any too many favours for her.

Not Sure

Whitney is human. I just hope she really is taking care of herself properly. She looks more pregnant rather than fatter (in my opinion). Her arms and legs remain slim. She still is not looking bad for someone who has just celebrated her 47th birthday.

Not sure about Donna Karan's look either. It does not flatter her in the waist depatment and I don't really know about the dress in general. Kerry Washington usually does better. This look does not offend, but it does not quite make the mark for me either. I don't know if I am hard on Kelly Osborne. She has an odd figure (very defined calves, which are difficult on a lady) and I don't know if I get sidetracked by the fact she doesn't seem to dress well for her figure, or if she does not dress well. I will think on it.

I have a friend (really this time, not me), who says that a partner can make the other half hotter or suck out their hotness. I thought of that when I saw the photos of these two couples. Kylie Minogue was a great natural beauty. Age happens to all of us and I don't think robs the beauty. It is the fight (with the chemicals and clothes that 20yr old models would wear) that kills it. Her model beau looking less hot these days too. Mel B has upgraded her style since her move to the US, but... her there is something about her partner. I am sure she is very happy, but the aura isn't 100%.

We are all Human. But this???

Geena Davis used to be a stunning woman. It looks like she has tried to fight the ageing process and has ended up fighting her hotness. A different kind of beauty comes with age, we need to embrace it.

Gabourey Sidibe is dangerously obese. There is no excuse for this (slow metabolism, glands etc). She needs help and love to deal with this. This is so wrong. I say that from a kind place.

Naomi Campbell has some hairline issues. It must be traumatising for a woman to have to deal with alopecia, but I honestly think that the constant weaves are not helping her. Her face is fierce enough to carry a shaved head – my opinion. Hate the fact she is still wearing/modelling fur.

More Photshop awards

Julia Roberts the original pretty woman is still pretty, but not perfect. We are all human.

No photoshop, but some 'work' has certainly been done on Emenem's face. I hope this is the first and last time.

The retouches have gone a little too far with Britt Ekland. She still looks OK (from afar), but I feel would have looked better if she stayed away from the surgeons knife..

Birthday girl

Naomi celebrated her 40th in Cannes. She shook out a new wig and did what she does. I was not really feeling her outfits. JLo demonstrating her classy again. Eva H kinda upstaged the birthday girl in the hot supermodel competition.

Almost

Eva, this dress is not for us. It won't flatter.

I know, not even close, but her hair looks clean and she's wearing a bra. High five for Britney Spears.  Peaches Geldof looks like she took a shower and combed her hair. For that, I will high five her and not say anything about the outfit.  Lindsay Lohan looks OK from the top, then the eyes meet the pink hoochie shorts and stockings and they roll in my head!

Estelle and Swizz beats. I will concentrate on the positive: I like her jacket and hair. He make-up has also improved. I don't understand Swizz's shoes. Someone please explain.  Jade Ewen looks good in this one legged jumpsuit, but there is still something that doesn't sit right with me.  Konnie Huq goes from terrible to nearly in this maxi dress. If she ditched the nurses belt and hairband she might look OK. But she is smiling. Oblivious is bliss!
